@urbanponds101 My Weigela's and Buddleja's have done very well in clay soil. The flowering both this year and last year has been amazing (all three are full of bees, butterflies, and other insects).

@lizaadamczewski I've not tried making my own ginger beer but I'd definitely give it a go. So much of the shop bought stuff has sweeteners in so I can't drink it.

@juliet_turner6 Last year we looked after a pigeon who had a wound on her throat, she lived in our garden for about 6 months. She still visits (and her markings make her easy to spot) and we named her Delores.

@tagsalegirl @MoundLore I like this question, as I was thinking about it I picked up a piece petrified wood and rolled it round it my hands and looked at the ammonite on my shelf. But the oldest handmade thing would possibly be a plate from the Mildenhall Treasure.

@juliet_turner6 The magpie family in my garden love to tease two former stray cats I have. The last few days I've seen the adults teaching the young how to safely come down to the water bowls I have and the mealworm treats I'll pop out for them. I love seeing them develop.

@Number10cat I have placed bowls of water in my garden for any cats passing through. Always happy to provide a water for the local animals (and I make sure to clean the bowls daily).
