Disappointed in one of my favorite places in the world, SA ๐ฟ๐ฆ. I know not everyone out there is involved in this, but this is insane and makes no sense!
I wish my South African brothers and sisters would speak up against this more strongly because itโs getting out of hand.
God help our African brothers and sisters out there. ๐
The VC fraud said this first. Others are still repeating the trope.
Ray Kroc, who created the current McDonald's, said:
โNothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful individuals with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.โ
The only true test in life is perseverance and satisfaction from the result. Success can also be largely due to luck, which fools people into believing they are more intelligent. The cemeteries are full of unfulfilled intelligent people.
Interesting last line in Ghana's national anthem which says "and help us to resist oppressorโs rule with all our will and might forever more." Wonder who that refers to?!

๐จ๐ฃ๏ธ Felix Nmecha on why he prayed with the Curacao National Team after the game:
"In the match we are rivals, but after the game we are all Christians and we are all brothers."
"We shared a short prayer because we believe that Jesus is glorified through the game."
Somali referee Omar Artan, who was denied entry into the USA ahead of the World Cup, has now been appointed by UEFA to officiate PSG vs. Aston Villa in the Super Cup final.
The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life. #ApostolicJourney
