Artist complain about vgens review system a lot, due to if you give anything less than 5 stars, VGen marks your stuff as failures and pushes you off of everything.
No front page, can't type in and find it, can't find you as an artist.

This is why artists complain.

honestly I stopped being as active on twitter these days bc there's so much u can't do,

can't post things outside of art or risk getting algo categorizing your account differently

can't repost art bc it knows so it'll be suppressed

can't post links or use hashtags

can't say any opinions or you get haters

can't post photos and stuff or you'll get creepy dms

can't even be seen by more than 1% of your followers

can't even post art now without being ready to be edited and trolled

just so much you can't do

bsky is not perfect but at least it feels more free and chronologically affected to post anything you want, and more consistent controlled engagement bc you're reaching real people who respond and niches are stronger when ppl actively choose their feeds and accounts they follow for content they like to see

it's less big numbers but more real numbers, and more casual, no account wide site wide suppression rules game

Guys genuinely bsky is not that bad, great even. It's the most similar app to twitter so far, but it has a few different features that makes it much more community friendly.
I've had one or two lags but nothing too bad. Small price compared to the one u pay staying on here
