Here’s the X Support scam that’s going around via DMs:

A mutual would get their account compromised and the scammer will send you DMs like this with an official looking email.

They will claim a report was erroneously made on your account and need your help to prevent your account from being permanently banned. This “help” comes from you joining a fake X Support Discord and giving the scammers all the information they need take over your account (or worse).

There’s no X Support Discord. If you get a DM like this, the account sending it has been compromised by scammers.

BIG PSA!!! There is a scam going around on X claiming people have reported you and if you don't contact someone on discord your account will be banned. Apparently SOMEHOW they've learned how to make accounts also send this message without the account owner knowing. pls watch out!

My best guess it's someone who has gained access to X's servers and they send this message from random accounts (or maybe even an authorized app). This is really concerning because the account owner has no idea and gets no notifications of being hacked or anything.

If you EVER get a message like this "from me," DO NOT TRUST IT. I would never "accidentally" report accounts ?? Is that even possible LMAO. Anyway please don't think it's actually me doing that. Never trust anything that tells you to contact someone outside of the platform.
