The Boston Globe has dedicated a full page in today's edition to the Tartan Army 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇺🇸

The letter in Boston's largest newspaper reads: "Dear Tartan Army,

"You came for the World Cup, but gave us something more.

"For a week, you turned train stations into singalongs, Fenway into a football ground, and an ordinary June into something we'll be talking about for years.

"Boston has hosted championships, parades, and celebrations of every kind. But we've never hosted guests quite like you all.

"Thank you for the laughter, the bagpipes and the memories. The World Cup will move on. So will the songs, but we'll never forget the joy you brought to our city."

Descubren una casa de tortura de animales en #Milpillas en #SLP.

Había denuncias de maltrato, pero lo que descubrieron colectivos animalistas que fueron al rescate fue una maldita pesadilla.

Perros en los huesos, otros agonizando en jaulas, animales dados como alimento, todos maltratados, golpeados, sobreexplotados para ser vendidos, cadáveres encalados al aire libre. Se dieron cuenta porque a los más viejos los echaron a la calle.

Toda esta vileza inhumana contra seres indefensos, durante años, quizá decenas de años, y NADIE HIZO NADA.

¿Cuántas casas habitadas por lacras habrá todavía en #SLP, cuántas más en #México, cuánta crueldad pudre y hace peligrosos a miles de monstruos con apariencia de personas?

Dañan animales, pero no se necesita ser un genio para saber que ahn dañado, dañan y dañarán a personas.

Rompe el alma saber cómo puede existir tanta maldad y cómo la sociedad y los gobiernos pueden permanecer indiferentes ante el horror.

¿Y si hubieran sido personas? ¿Alguien más habría escuchado el llanto, los gritos de dolor, el olor a muerte? ¿No es así como dejamos de sentir el dolor ajeno y a normalizar los peores actos de crueldad como normales solo porque "solo eran perros" hasta que un día "solo fueron gente que no conocíamos"?

Lo que sigue es fácil de saber.

Autoridades que nunca respondieron el llamado.

Autoridades que no van a castigar a los responsables.

Autoridades que tienen otras prioridades.

La sociedad está rota porque quienes tenemos el corazón roto, cada vez somos menos.
