i miss old camping, going to the line, getting a number, befriending people that are in front and back of you. making dinner plans with strangers and them end up being some of your greatest friends. this was so damn fun.
Let me try this again.
In all seriousness - really - this is it.
This is the end.
It will be very emotional for all of us on the account. I am sure many of you are likely to feel the same way.
I have the feeling that watching this final movie for City Walls will be like finishing an epic movie or closing the binding on a terrific book series. You are thankful for the conclusion and the journey, but you simply do not want it to end… especially with all that is at stake and the characters we have grown to love hanging in the balance. But that is part of what made this story great.
I am so very thankful we had the opportunity to watch the journey of Clancy and Torchbearer and the purpose they gave us for years. YEARS.
I started this account knowing there would be a "silence" starting in 2017 after TDC. The goal was simple: keep the discussion about the band and what was to come vibrant and alive, and make sure people are heard and seen, even though our guys would be quiet and hidden away.
My investment in seeing this through has taken a toll on my life outside of Twitter and exposed myself to more fandom squabbles and brief disagreements than I ever expected to deal with. Those helped me grow and actually meet people I may never have. Thank you to everyone who helped me steer this ship and keep me in check.
This acct also showed me countless times how great a fandom can be when we pull together - in the end I hope we did okay. We certainly tried.
Despite the challenges, including being suspended (I got NEN back a month later), multiple admins leaving, and even losing an admin to cancer (@ExtraBrandy Track_2 we love you RIP), somehow, with the support of our amazing admins (who have been here for YEARS), we found a way to not only feel like a part of something more than ourselves, but hopefully increase the likelihood of you feeling part of something, too.
Thank you again to the two people who have contributed as much as anyone all these years:
@pieceobread (b-side)
@cyberargonaut (Track_3)
Thank you to the friends who have contributed behind the scenes, providing insight and direction:
@razorsharpgen (Track_7)
@RonanIsHere1
@FueledBy_Robin
Thank you to the members of our old theorists chat (Arthur Miller's Children GC) who helped us define the Dema battle and ultimately pinpoint the crisis within the storyline:
@poptivist@Catey_Allen
I also want to thank the original 14 - the first Tracks who helped launch this with about 45 followers. This includes my youngest, @maybeimafraid, who is still in our NEN GC and chats me up about everything!
NEN will be here for the entire Breach tour, but after that, we will go dark. It will be our hiatus. I don't know what the future holds or when the new story will begin to take shape, but we could be back when that happens if our admins choose to do so. Not me.
That being said - I would never delete what we have created thus far - that feels like going against our purpose and it is NOT mine to do so.
Nothing will ever replace the friends we have made along the way. I am so thankful for each and every one of you.
I would be remiss if I did not thank the two gentlemen providing all the source material - @tylerrjoseph and @joshuadun. You have positively impacted my life. From the bottom of my old fragile heart - thank you and see you at a couple of shows.
As for me (@Clique_Dad_CD) - I am going to be at Cincy and Milwaukee, but not the finale in LA which goes against my own desires - but that is okay. Life happens.
I only ask one thing of you, if you see me say hello, give me a hug if you want, and remember …
You have the power to say your own Truce aloud and mean it - just give yourself the time and the grace to achieve it.
Be good to yourself. You deserve it.
With all my heart - thank you!

i don’t know what worm crawled into your ear and made you feel like scaled and icy wasn’t a good album but we need to lay that to rest @tylerrjoseph she was experimental and a risk and that is a testament to your artistry and your talent. you’ve never compromised
