Hadn’t seen UNCHARTED (2022) until now. Didn’t miss much. What a waste of an opportunity. Tom Holland is *fine* and kind of charming, but the rest of the movie is tensionless CGI and surface level crap. No depth, no emotion, no excitement—nothing. Had real possibilities to be a great, fresh adventure series, but it failed in almost every way.
“If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you should feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction.
The most savage controversies are those about matters as to which there is no good evidence either way. Persecution is used in theology, not in arithmetic, because in arithmetic there is knowledge, but in theology there is only opinion. So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants.”

Really enjoyed MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. It wasn’t drab and dark, but bright, colorful and fun. I even loved the musical nods to the old FLASH GORDON flick (which I adored). The composer even brought in Brian May from Queen. This movie was a lot of fun. Great casting too. Sequel!
Dear @AmazonMGMStudio my name is David. I am gay and therefore I am apparently your entire target audience. So as a sacred cow of all media, I wanted to say… please uncancel the Stargate show from @martingero@bradtravelers and @BaronDestructo
Stargate already has universal appeal. The franchise had 17 seasons in the most cutthroat era of television. Since that time the fandom has done nothing but grow!
If every Stargate fan tuned in, you’d have one of the biggest shows on streaming. It is offensive that you allegedly consider us to be inadequate and not a built in benefit.
Please reconsider your decision and allow this show to continue. The fandom is here to either empower you or resist you. The relationship you want to have with the fans of this massive franchise is entirely up to you.
The sheer amount of AI slop on social media is appalling. We’re rapidly approaching a point where it’s going to be difficult to trust the authenticity of anything you see and hear online. Is anyone else as concerned as I am about this? My advice for the moment: Like, follow, and subscribe to REAL HUMAN BEINGS who you know post real meat brain/sweat equity content only.
#StrangerThings5 doing what ’80s flicks always did: start with small, human story→ sequels inflate into myth and spectacle (i.e., Rambo, Alien). The finale worked for me. Great character send-offs. Even the complaint about it “getting too big” feels very ’80s. That’s not a flaw.
Devastated to hear about the passing of Rob Reiner and his wife. Such an immense talent. I loved damn near all of his movies. Not to mention Meathead and his roles in Sleepless in Seattle and Jess’ dad on New Girl. My thoughts go out to his friends and family. So tragic. RIP. 🙏🏼
The season 3 finale of #Reacher was really great. Hit all the right notes and gave us a few emotional moments to tie it all up nicely. And that song was perfect. Ending nailed. See you for season 4.
The Fall Guy was a fun, action-packed comedy. Ryan Gosling’s charm and likability carried the movie, and his chemistry with Emily Blunt was fantastic. The film could’ve been tighter, especially the bloated final act, but it’s still an entertaining ride and well worth your time.👍🏼
Dear @Amazon, why are Blu-rays from other regions listed alongside U.S. releases? Many unsuspecting buyers (and gift-givers) don’t know this and end up with discs they can’t play. I now have 5 generous Christmas gifts that can’t be used. So frustrating. Why do this? 🤬 @JeffBezos
To anyone else who felt the devastating loss of @DAVID_LYNCH this week, Special Agent Dale Copper himself (Kyle MacLachlan) wrote a beautiful essay in the @nytimes about his long-time friend. RIP to a true artist.

Nosferatu is a hauntingly beautiful film, steeped in atmosphere and shadowy gothic charm. Lilly Rose Depp and Nicholas Hoult deliver standout performances, and Willem Dafoe is a joy. Though a bit drawn out for my taste, it’s a visually striking retelling of the classic story.
30 years to the day after the premiere of Star Trek: Generations I was watching @WilliamShatner host the premier of #Unification - a moment I never forget…
The Penguin (@hbomax) is dark, gripping, and impossible to look away from. An unrecognizable Colin Farrell leads a stellar cast, including a dementia-stricken mother and a charming young protégé. The story explores ambition, loyalty, and power with remarkable depth. Wow.
The Turnaround (#Netflix, 25 min) is a compelling short documentary showcasing the transformative power of #kindness. Jon McCann, a dedicated @Phillies superfan, inspires fellow fans to swap boos of frustration for cheers of encouragement. It’s well worth your time.
