Mining Midwimble takes more than hashpower. It takes a bond.
Lock MDS on Midstate to earn the right to produce private blocks. Skin in the game, enforced by a quantum-resistant chain.
What it is and how to set one up:

#Midstate#Midwimble#Mining
To rejoin, stop your old node, then:
cd midwimble && git pull
mv ../midwimble-testnet ../midwimble-testnet-v2 # if you joined before (keeps your old bond file)
python3 scripts/join_testnet.py --mine # or without --mine to only follow the chain
its only ~90 bucks per midwimble bond at the moment. @safetrade $mds . @midwimble planning to launch on 31 october (in honour of Satoshi's white paper).
@Chain11904452@cypherpunkgold Midwimble is a midstate sidechain that utilises eliptic curve cryptography to enhance privacy, whilst anchoring to midstate to preserve quantum safety.
Builds midwimble from `scripts/testnet.json`, aborts if the binary's genesis block is not `29c2742d…`, creates a wallet (password `testnet`), starts a node connected to the seed. State and logs: `../midwimble-testnet`. Ctrl-C stops it; rerun to resume.
**Requirements:** Linux or macOS (WSL2 on Windows), git, python3, Rust (rustup), build tools (`build-essential` on Debian/Ubuntu, Xcode Command Line Tools on macOS).
**Run a node**
```
git clone https://t.co/iThMztVNyh
cd midwimble
python3 scripts/join_testnet.py
```
Midwimble is the private counterpart to Midstate.
Midstate: scarce, quantum-resistant security.
Midwimble: fast, private transactions.
Midwimble miners bond MDS, and Midwimble anchors back into Midstate.
Midstate secures Midwimble. Midwimble creates utility for Midstate.
