@JennytheM Yes I’m sure it’s especially different being on your own on an MLU when no one remembers to relieve you. The power flows in many directions doesn’t it.

In 2008-2011 I compared midwives' experiences of working on a Delivery Suite and an MLU. On DS, work meant doing and appearing busy. Midwives on the MLU spent time together drinking tea and talking. Has the 'culture of busy' changed since then? photo https://t.co/c5dCNEyGKo
