@AtomicFilament got some nice colors in my 70% mystery bundle. Since I had requests to see what I got in the mystery bundle, I did a quick stream and here is the VOD for it. "Unpacking Atomic Filament Delivery" https://t.co/q24DqOo117
@reprinted3D I went to the courthouse and did early voting. We have county council members that openly said they were voting how they wanted and not for the people. I am making sure my vote is against the corruption
This same thing happened to me with a certain someone just all of a sudden banning me and blocking me from discord. I was warned that because I was friends with others that it would happen. Happened shortly after a remodel of his studio where he asked for feedback and was honest.
The #3DPrinting community can be an incredibly welcoming place, filled with wonderful people. Until you, knowingly or unknowingly, cross the wrong one(s). That's when you learn what happens when the welcome has worn out.
For the better part of this year, I thought something was going on, and last week I was informed my suspicions were correct:
I am "being cancelled" by some folks in the community.
I was told a couple of years ago this would happen as my follower count grew, because of the people I chose to associate with, and because I've been so outspoken about certain groups and brands.
I could go into a laundry list of specifics, detailing the things that've happened to me. I've posted about some of them as they've occurred.
I've always tried to be helpful, supportive, and encouraging. I've delighted in watching the personal and business successes, and commiserated with the setbacks, of those I associate with. I have bought and sent folks printers, parts, and filament when they didn't have the money to do it for themselves, even though I'm on a fixed income myself.
None of that matters to these folks.
If you don't like what they like, support who they support (with subs, bits, buying their merchandise, contributing to their Throne list, giving them free stuff, etc.), say nice things about the brands who sponsor them, they will actively work to exorcise you from what they see as "their" community.
They will lie about you, tell your mutuals it's either you or them, get folks to block you, and destroy your reputation and standing within the community. You don't have to believe me, but I've seen it happen. Several Twitch streamers I used to watch no longer stream because of them. And it's happened to me in the last ten months.
I've never mentioned any names, and I don't intend to now; it's counter-productive, and won't change any of their behavior. Some of you may already know who these people are, having felt their sting on your own.
What I will say is I am undecided about my future here, and with the community, because this kind of behavior is petty, childish, and reprehensible.
I deserve better. We all do.

@Wendys why do you still have this NEW chicken sandwich patty on the menu? It sucks. The old one was great and about the best on the market. This one is about the bottom of the barrel. Fix this now. And bring back Frostyccino.
@justtheone_1 AEW is the better product. Hunter isn't calling the shots. TKO is. He is just doing what they are telling him. The year before TKO took over he did good. Now he sucks.
