This is the opening ceremony of the 2022 World Cup.
This was the World Cup everyone claimed Qatar couldn't pull off, but they ended up hosting arguably the best, most organised World Cup in recent memory.
The Quran recitation and the calm atmosphere gave it a unique feel never seen before.
Now, we wait to see what the upcoming tournament in North America will bring.
The bar has been set incredibly high, and it is going to take a lot more than the usual American corporate and media hype to match this level of soul and standard.
One of the guys I knew growing up is literally a tax collector (agbero) at a bus stop. I pass by there and greet him every time, watching him collect "tax" from commercial motorists while looking the part.
I just passed by now and saw him, and it dawned on me again how life deals different hands and turns out differently for us all.
If you don’t have solid highlight videos and a well detailed cv that can show/prove your football growth and age, you’re wasting your time as an amateur footballer that wants to go pro!!
Thank you and Have a good week 🥂

Many of you do not know Football money is blood money, the money long, I used to play with Michael Laitan back then in Jos in a club in Cele bridge, when Olympiacos signed him, mehnnnnn, he single handedly changed his family’s life… it was like a dream watching olympiacos Vs Man Utd in 2013…. This guy used to admire Rooney, watching him played against Rooney on the same pitch sends a feeling that, your life can change in seconds.
To think this boy was still in Nigeria exactly a year ago playing amateur football is crazy. Damn.
I'm certain that if someone had told him this would happen in less than a year, he would have viewed them as a madman.
The perfect proof that your life is just ONE occurrence away from changing for the better.
Destiny and its associated timing is a beautiful concept.
