The city of Saint Paul has officially determined the January 18 invasion of our church and the desecration of our worship to be a “peaceful protest.”
Here’s my question for Mayor Her:
@vizini8@LatterDayOutlaw LDS doctrine rejects the Bible when it contradicts their teachings, so they can easily reject Paul’s instructions there, sadly.
@TruthHolder2023@LatterDayOutlaw It’s no secret that the LDS Church uses similar words as creedal Christianity but with different meanings. This is why I’m asking clarifying questions. You assume it means I’m ignorant, which is quite disrespectful.
@TruthHolder2023@LatterDayOutlaw “There is no LDS Church” is a vexing claim. The name of the org literally begins with the words, “THE CHURCH OF…” If you’re just making a semantic argument about the order of my words, then it doesn’t hold up.
And I’ve read the BOM but don’t have it memorized. That’s why I ask.
@hvworlton You seem to be implying I’m a liar. Which is false. Or if I’m incorrect, then let me know what you meant. But I never asked you who God’s wife is.
@hvworlton I’ve shared things directly from your church’s website and you haven’t wanted to engage with it. It’s probably time to respectfully disengage since you seem unwilling to actually discuss your church’s doctrinal beliefs in good faith. Read Micah Wilder’s book sometime!
@hvworlton Your interpretation of what I said is strained. You know I’m referring to God being a man prior to becoming God. Phil. 2 addresses your point about Jesus becoming a man. He was the Messiah also.
Being an image bearer doesn’t have to mean God had a body. That’s not in the Bible.
