@assassinscreed Love the game. Love the return to basics. My only issue is the fact that the side and back ejects during parkour are mediocre at best. If you could patch this and make it so side and back ejects add height and distance, this game would be a LOT better.
Emiliano Zapata, the Mexican revolutionary leader, was photographed in Mexico City in 1914. Zapata led a successful peasant rebellion in central Mexico against the unjust accumulation of wealth by the small yet powerful landowning class. These landowners monopolized land and water for sugar cane production and were supported by a dictator named Porfirio Diaz.
Even though Mexico had outlawed slavery, Mexican farms during that era operated on a system of indentured servitude. Impoverished and uneducated peasants were compelled to purchase basic consumer goods on credit at exorbitant prices, leading them into perpetual debt and effectively keeping them "employed" until they could repay it all.
Zapata and his rebel army did not seize control of the central Mexican government, but they did assist impoverished peasants within their controlled territory by reclaiming stolen land through force. What set his army apart was his inclusion of women, allowing them to join the ranks and serve as combatants, with some even holding officer positions.
Tragically, in 1916, at the age of 39, Zapata was betrayed, ambushed, and killed by government forces. His most renowned words were, "Prefiero morir de pie que vivir de rodillas" (I'd rather die standing than live on my knees).
Just in: The NBA Board of Governors has approved two new gameplay changes for the 2023-24 season, per sources:
- In-game penalty for flops resulting in technical foul free throw
- A second coach’s challenge awarded if first challenge is successful
@MissRobbie76@ClutchPointsApp People really don't understand how this works. You can own or say what you want. The only thing that your "freedom" guarantees is that you won't go to prison.
But private companies, from convenience stores to the NBA, can still punish you for being an asshole.
As soon as traditionally marginalized groups gained enough power and acquired the technological means to make their demands for respect and their criticism heard, traditional elites started bemoaning “persecution” - “The hordes are coming to cancel us!”
I was contacted by the College Board telling me they developed their AP Af Am Studies Curriculum before seeing my lesson plans and let me be very clear. These lessons are not for sale. They are free. Available for everyone. For free. https://t.co/z5czvNxw5t
Any time the "WNBA should lower the rims" discourse pops up I'm surprised at how many people think dunking automatically equals good basketball.
If you don't understand the game, just say that.
