I’ve noticed something important: tokenized stocks are attracting a huge amount of liquidity, and this could be one of the main reasons altcoins have remained relatively weak lately.
The data shows just how aggressively the tokenized stock market is growing:
– Trading volume reached $11.3B, nearly 4x the previous record.
– The total market cap of tokenized stocks hit a new ATH of $2.26B.
– Tokenized equities now represent roughly 7.1% of the entire RWA market, which is valued at over $32B.
Perp DEXs are also helping drive volume into tokenized equities by launching aggressive campaigns and incentives for stock trading.
I’ve gradually started shifting toward trading stocks during this period because their growth and price volatility are now comparable to those of altcoins.
Some of the major names contributing to the growth of tokenized stocks include:
– @xStocksFi
– @OndoPerps
– @PhoenixTrade
– @HyperliquidX
– @BackedFi
ITokenized stocks are becoming a real bridge between TradFi and crypto.
Crypto investors, especially those in Asia and emerging markets who are already comfortable with high volatility, can now trade assets such as $NVDA, $TSLA, and $QQQ directly from their wallets using stablecoins, without being restricted by US market hours.
On top of that, some recently listed stocks such as $SPCX and $CBRS still offer significant volatility.
@AnhDaDen811@Ondo 24/7 access to traditional assets isn’t new, FX markets have always done that, so Ondo’s point is more about bringing stocks and ETFs onchain.
@Nazo_ku The immediate staking of 40m ENA suggests yield was likely a key motive, though the 5-day-old Coinbase-funded wallet also hints at a specific catalyst or arb setup.
@Jemmie1155431@sleepagotchi Data ownership is key, but Sleepagotchi still has to make that control simple enough for users to actually understand and use.
