@warriors24seven@AndyKHLiu If the injured player is out for a year, NBA has a Disabled Player Exception that is half the injured player’s cap figure. https://t.co/qZVqf4tqfo
@Hooponomics Thank you for the explanation! That makes a lot of sense! Is there lineup data that you can use that filters out garbage time and adjusts for strength of opponent lineup?
@tokertim If you narrow this down to wide open looks, it tells a very different story. Curry is shooting his % despite taking wayyy more difficult looks. Dubs generate some of the best shot quality but can’t hit them.
@SwishCultureYT He did try to move up in the draft. He almost completed a deal to send Amare to the Warriors for Steph before the Dubs decided against it. Steve unlocked another level for Steph with his system. Depends on how you define development. I’d argue what Kerr did qualifies.
@spacegang30@TheBBallSage@hmmmmkay Where are you sourcing your assertion that MPJ doesn't want to be in GS and play with Curry? He and Curry work out together with Curry's trainer so it would seem that they have a good relationship.
@ThePackageJG POA defense for the starting 5 is suspect, especially against quicker guards. I’d start melton at the 2 and bring Dray off the bench. Bring him in for Jimmy to stagger them. Close with Dray at 5 lineup.
@tokertim@whitspen He's volunteered it before for JK. I can't imagine he'd have issue with it to accommodate MPJ. It's ideal to stagger Jimmy and Dray when Dray isn't at the 5.
@whitspen@tokertim You can do both. With MPJ, you start with Dray off the bench. It optimizes Jimmy's value with all the shooting around him. Then you use the Dray at the 5 lineup to close and for short periods when opposing bench lineups aren't big/Dubs have an advantage to exploit.
@samesfandiari Why do you think we’re turning over the ball more with essentially the same rotation with the same ball-handling and decision-making limitations? Do you think the emphasis on ball pressure we’re seeing across the league is the cause of the 2% TO increase?
