@ScotiabankHelps If you can see the memo requested made to a group which go no clue on the asked request. Who is responsible for this ? Teller who made the request and never followed up? or a group who cant answer questions?

@ScotiabankHelps Well a simple request made by me at branch regarding wire memo. No response from the branch after 10 'BUSINESS' days. Walked 5th time to get response.
Teller promised me that they will get back to me on Friday (today 13th Oct,2023).
Question is why you guys are so lazy?

This branch failed to respond simple questions asked regarding 'Wire'.
Branch Manager has no idea on wire payments and how it works.
Also is anyone at @scotiabank knows who decides ForEx rates while sending money internationally?
I am seeking for actual answers.

I think international students and working people should use apps like @remitly or @WorldRemit and not any 'TIRE 1' BANKS. Well time to move from @scotiabank 👎

Paying off your international student debt? DO NOT PAY via @scotiabank 's Wire. Tellers got no clue on how wire works and what exchange rates they are getting. Also Branch Manager is unaware on this Wire transactions. (You will loose appx $300 +$40) every $10,000 transfer.

Can a student who applied for PGWP outside canada (After completing education from Canada) visit Canada on expired student visa and get a new one on YYZ border ?
