I have lost count of the amount of time I reached Virar by the last local, by like 2 am, walked over to the Palghar side of the station, and slept inside the parked MEMU which would depart at like 5 am in the morning.

Sometimes RPF/GRP folks would come with their dandas during patrolling, poking people, trying to wake them up assuming they were anti social elements. They would usually leave the decently dressed me alone, though.

I am pretty sure thousands of people can relate to what I am saying...
