@MyWayOfL1fe@animetrends Depends on the company, and the location they work for... the whole "Shibuya incident Arc" costs less than a single episode of "Family Guy"
@Vurbax_@Genshin_HU_Info Or Medusa, or Illya, or... that is only part of it
I know what alternate universe means, but it is the same one every time he gets stabbed and summoned because he becomes Archer. Until he actually dies and doesn't. It is not the only Nasuverse story about time paradox [spiral]
@NazonoLainX@Genshin_HU_Info Him reaching Avalon, and all the death he dealt on the way turns him into the Cynical UBW Archer.
Him realising that the heroic ideal he held is a lie turns him into HF 'old mentor' Archer
Letting go of everything is what frees him from his 'Samsara' so he can do what is needed
@eskeiaar@Genshin_HU_Info ALSO if you ever decide to get into the Dark Tower, READ it... The movie is almost fun but not very good, the books are great.
@eskeiaar@Genshin_HU_Info I thought of the routes as non continuous, until Garden of Sinners made me change my stance. The paralels and the rules of the world make it pretty clear what it is. And I do not think Touko's cameo in HF is [just] fanservice.
Anyhow good talk, and go watch GoS.
@NazonoLainX@Genshin_HU_Info I see the merit of that asumption, and it may be correct. I am not going to attack the FGO stuff since it is on the level of the H in the setting, it exists to make money.
But it is disconected from the point, boy dies, boy becomes hero, boy dies, again and agin, untl HF
@eskeiaar@Genshin_HU_Info Ah, you are stuck on that one word. I specifically said it isn't a time loop. Since it has a begining and an end, same as "The Dark Tower" by King. Or better yet "Paradox Spiral" in the same setting, by the same author with a connecting character specializing in the topic, Touko.
@eskeiaar@Genshin_HU_Info You do know he is aware of the other routes? That the UBW Archer is Shiro from Artoria route, and same for UBW>HF? You do know that is the meta-narrative of the whole VN? It is the a staple of the medium?
@NazonoLainX@Genshin_HU_Info Yea i dont mess with the fgo stuff, because of how watered down it is.
But yes EMIYA is a paradox, so the ending of HF is him being unmade. They are always aware of the other routes, and it was the only way for him to be free. Basically we see the 3 final steps, Artoria>UBW>HF
@eskeiaar@Genshin_HU_Info The FateStay/Night story is not quite a time loop but close enough. The begining is Kiritsugu using Avalon to save Shiro, the ending is Shiro dying at the end of HF. So yes it is a continuation, as in the ending of an incomplete timeloop story.
@NazonoLainX@Genshin_HU_Info The 5th war is a time spiral, so it is a continuation. Events repeat until EMIYA is unmade.
But the op is wrong in that it is a spinoff, that it is not.
