While @iitachiyomi have made some steps to differentiate themselves as an unofficial fan account, they still make posts with misleading language and imagery which confuses our users to this day thinking we are one and the same or are partnered somehow.

We've been made aware that @iitachiyomi has been selling merch and 'membership passes' to their community using the Mihon name.

They decided not to notify or ask us for permission. Please do not spend any money on this as none of it goes to supporting the Mihon project.

You also broke all the agreements between you and the former Tachiyomi team.

Yes years ago our name had “Tachiyomi” in the title.
The Tachi team contacted us directly and asked us not to share certain things, a deal between us.
We agreed, even offered to delete the accouns, but they told us it’s fine to keep it as long as we clarify we’re not official ✅
