Would I use this AI strategy again? 100%. Because instead of just giving me a working pipeline, it walked me through the mechanics. That’s where the real learning happened.
Curious: What was your “aha!” moment when you first learned about Bash pipes?

This week, I put theory into practice by tackling one of the most fundamental — but often tricky — Bash concepts: piping (|).
My Piping Challenge:
I wanted to deeply understand the pipeline:
ps aux | grep "bash" | wc -l
Personal Reflection:
This exercise taught me that piping is not just about chaining commands — it’s about managing the flow of data streams efficiently. Using AI as a coach instead of a shortcut made me confident that I can now design my own pipelines with a clearer mental model.
As part of my learning journey with #ALX_SE#ALX_BE, I’ve been reflecting on how my learning style shapes the way I study.
I recently discovered that I’m a Kinesthetic learner – I understand concepts best when I can experiment, debug, and get my hands dirty with real code.
This way, I’m not just copying solutions — I’m building intuition and truly understanding the flow of the program. AI becomes less of a crutch and more of a coach in my coding journey.
I connect best when knowledge isn’t just theory but something I can apply with my own hands.
This also reminded me of something important: there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach to learning. The more we understand our unique style, the more effectively we can grow.

Today I discovered something new about myself through a learning style quiz:
I am a Kinesthetic–INFP learner
That means:
I learn best by doing, practicing, and experiencing things directly.

As an INFP, I naturally reflect inward, look at the bigger picture, value authenticity, and thrive when life has a touch of flexibility.
Honestly, this explains a lot about how I approach both learning and problem-solving.
