@PhoebePlague I'm not sure what part of the world you are from, but in America it's colloquially known as an Allen Wrench. I agree with you that it is an Allen Key. It's kind of like asking for a pair of Channel Locks when it's just a brand but there's a specific tool they are known for.

@MAR_icon_ela Body positioning plays a part here. If you notice, the younger girl has her shoulders square to the slicer, meaning she can only use the strength of her arm. The older lady has her body slightly positioned at an angle that let's her use her body weight when pushing down.

@tanpukunokami I'd probably chuckle or laugh a little bit then tell you to go for it (I like rice!). Definitely not common at American BBQ but most people would be ok with it if they asked for people to bring food to help. One less side dish I have to make!

We would like to share our upcoming plans regarding the "Improvements to Song Selection During Events" previously mentioned in the special program and on the official X account.

To allow players to enjoy a broader variety of songs, rather than only specific songs, we will implement the following measures in stages.

1. Adjustment to the Song Length Bonus
Ahead of the improvements planned for the future, we have raised the bonus for songs with a low Song Length Bonus, reducing the gap caused by differences in song length.
With this adjustment, the Song Length Bonus for each song has not become lower than it was before.
This was implemented at around 9:30 PM (JST) yesterday.

2. A new song selection feature
In the update around the end of September, we plan to add "Highlighted Songs," a new song selection feature.
By choosing "Highlighted Songs" when selecting a song, songs will be selected automatically, centered on Event Set Pieces and songs by the featured talents.
Songs selected through this feature will have a dedicated bonus applied instead of the Song Length Bonus. This dedicated bonus has no variation between songs and is equal to or greater than the Song Length Bonus.
*"Highlighted Songs" applies only to "Grade Mode" and "Private" in Live Together.

Further details will be announced at a later date.

We will continue making improvements so that everyone can enjoy events more comfortably.

*The update time is subject to change.

It took a little bit of time for me to get my thoughts together.

hololive EN changed my life. I've been able to accomplish things that I never dreamed of. I've been given the opportunity to live my dream. But mostly importantly, hololive EN introduced me to some of the most incredible people I've ever met.
To me, hololive EN is family so it would be a lie to say that this merge doesn't affect me. Saying goodbye to hololive English was something I never thought I would have to do and yeah, it's goddamn hard.

I understand that a lot of people are anxious, upset and unsure. I think that is completely valid.

It's a big change for everyone - talent and viewer alike. But I would like to hope that we don't lose sight of what's most important: the love and community we've created over these last 6 years.

There's a lot to be upset about but for me, I choose to believe that things will be okay because honestly that's all I can do. I hope that this merger will bring about new changes that will empower ALL talents - JP, EN and ID. I hope that this is the right step in building a better tomorrow for existing talents and for new talents yet to come.

To me, nothing has changed except the name. In my heart, I will forever be a member of hololive English. I will continue working hard to be a bridge between JP, EN and ID because that is the talent that I've always strived to be.

To my community, I'm so grateful to everyone who has supported me in my hololive English journey and I can only hope that you will join us in this new chapter of hololive.

I know sudden changes like this can bring up a lot of different feelings. Some of you might be surprised, some might feel a little sad or worried, and I get that. I felt that way too when I first heard the news. Change can be sorta scary.

But even if names or structures change, none of the time we’ve spent together as hololive English, the memories we’ve made, or everything we’ve built along the way just disappears.

And of course, IRyS is still IRyS! 💎
I’ll still be here laughing with you guys, singing my heart out, getting way too excited over silly things lol, and having fun with you guys just like always💕

Thank you so much for walking alongside me all this time!
There are still so many things I want to do and so many new memories I want to make with you guys, and I hope you’ll be there with me for all of them!
