so glad yeri is hving fun w friends, performing around the world, loved by so many ppl, living her best life. as long as she is happy idrc abt anything else. all i want is for her to keep smiling.
spare us the sermon of the dark years when kids can't even secure their and their families future by doing what they can do best. not just leaks but the sheer lack of opportunities and diverse career options are as big issues as national security
I am glad you are no longer scared of commutes but guess what that fear still stands true a hell of tue population and not just because of terrorism but absolute breakdown of civil administration and infrastructure.
Don’t know about Rang De Basanti, but let me tell you what some of us millennials actually grew up watching.
I was in primary school during the 1993 Mumbai bombings -- too young to even understand what terrorism meant. But I distinctly remember my mom repeatedly warning me not to pick up anything lying around while playing outside because, you know, it could be a bomb.
That was childhood.
Then came the seemingly endless procession of attacks: the 1993 Mumbai blasts, Red Fort in 2000, Parliament in 2001, the Mumbai bus bombings and Akshardham in 2002, three separate blasts within eight months in Mumbai in 2003, the 2005 Delhi blasts, the 2007 Hyderabad bombings, and the 2008 Bangalore and Ahmedabad blasts.
In July 2006, I was supposed to be on one of the trains that was bombed near Mahim. I stayed back at the office because of a meeting. A completely mundane change of plans is probably the reason I’m alive to type this instead of being a name on a list of the dead.
I remember that evening far better than I remember any stupid movie. Our office went into lockdown. Phones were jammed. People were crying and frantically trying to reach their families. Nobody knew what was happening, whether there were more bombs, or whether someone they loved was lying dead inside a mangled train compartment.
Two years later came 26/11.
I had the misfortune of watching uncensored footage of the aftermath. One clip showed bodies being piled and stacked inside a makeshift room at CST while someone wheeled in another load on a bloodied wheelbarrow, with blood dripping onto the floor. The sanitised footage shown on television didn't come remotely close to what actually happened inside that station.
So yes, us millennials lived through an era where we went to work knowing that the crime of simply boarding the wrong train, getting on the wrong bus, eating at the wrong restaurant, or standing on the wrong street at the wrong fucking moment could get you blown to pieces or riddled with bullets.
Some of us literally went to work wondering, somewhere at the back of our minds, whether this would be the commute we wouldn't come home from.
So please, spare us millennials this sanctimonious horseshit about Rang De Basanti and what some Bollywood movie supposedly should have taught us about how to vote.
kids die because of trees falling, trains are still derailed and india had the most number of people dying in stampedes last 3-4 years, people drown in front of families and rescue forces. people in india still survive due to stroke of luck and not due to efficient governance
time and time again my theory is proven right that boys tend to let a lot of stuff their fathers do slide which isn't the case when its the mother in question because as per them both the father and mother are behaving like they are supposed to be. they throw a tantrum otherwise
Masi came to see me. Mom & masi sitting together. Suddenly started talking about my childhood & how my dadi’s side did evil things to mom.
I observed how it is almost instinctive in women to fuel the kids. In early years, I used to feel bad for weeks after these instances.
It is nothing wrong. It is just the programming. I am sure you all were made to hate your chachi, bhua etc. It all came from your wiring done by mom & her kins. I do not have a bhua. Otherwise maybe she would have told me things about my masi & nani.
These house politics have affected even the most capable & sane kings. After an age, you gotta be careful about all these things.

🆘🆘 PUMA (ID 248368), 8 YO, MALE – IN QUEENS ACC - came into the shelter as a stray on 3/10/2026.🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿
➡️TBD 3/24/26
➡️ SENIOR ALERT
➡️ MEDICAL PRIORITY – NEEDS MORE CARE AND ATTENTION THAN THE SHELTER CAN PROVIDE
➡️ TOO LOW ON PLEDGES TO STIMULATE RESCUE INTEREST
➡️🆘🆘 4TH Chance on Emergency Placement List – BEYOND URGENT - NO ROOM IN SHELTER – WILL NOT BE GIVEN MUCH MORE TIME – VERY HIGH EU/SILENT KILL RISK – 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱
➡️ 12 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT
➡️ PUMA IS ON THE EPL FOR MEDICAL REASONS - Puma is a middle aged cat with elevated kidney values consistent with kidney disease. He is also overweight and has dental disease. Puma will need follow up with a veterinarian with placement. This evaluation/diagnosis means that PUMA will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.🔥🔥🔥🔥
What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me. Puma is at the front of the kennel meowing loudly. He greets the assessor with a high tail and immediately nudges against their hand, head bunting intensely. The assessor allows Puma to pet himself against their hand as his tail begins to swish back and forth quickly. When pet along his body, his tail continues to swish. Puma puts his front paws on the assessor's shoulders and attempts to climb into their arms, while head bunting and purring. He allows to be picked up and held, and once set back down continues to attempt to push his way out of the kennel to solicit attention. The assessor redirects him with a liquid treat that he eats readily, and a few toys that he rolls around with once the kennel door is closed. Puma interacts with the observer, solicits and appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻
NEEDS OUT OF SHELTER ASAP –

You may see me talk a lot about the Trans Bill being passed in India.
I am aware it does not concern you since you may not be trans, nor indian. But it is one of the most morally bankrupt inhumane things happening in my country.
Please help amplify this.
