The permeable perimeter was an abject LE failure as he never should have been able to close distance to the POTUS and attendees.

Hi Megyn,

The biggest reason for inter-agency mission creep, as being exemplified in the Guthrie case, is the Bureau's tendency to abandon ship if the case goes south.

They take all their notes, doings and information and disappear leaving the local PD to take the brunt of public disfavor.

I am not defending the Sheriff in this instance , just highlighting the reasons for disparity between the local and federal investigative agencies tasked with the responsibility of bringing resolution.
