This woman, Grace Beverley, went to Oxford. Her inability to think critically about Hope not Hate’s output or the way the Equality Act and the Human Rights Act are actually implemented is a damning indictment of the quality of critical thinking taught at Oxford.

She only thinks as far as anyone using positive words like “hope” and “equality” must be the “good side”. There’s no attempt to analyse any further or any curiosity about why Restore Britain has the policies it does. She also takes Hope not Hate at their word, she doesn’t seem to have checked whether they’re being fully honest (which they’re not).

She also owes much of her career to having wealthy, well-connected parents. In my opinion, there’s nothing wrong with using your connections to help your children, but she’s exactly the kind of person who doesn’t understand why people disagree with her progressive politics because she lives in a bubble and doesn’t have the same life experiences as most.

It’s so incredibly tiresome for genuinely very privileged people to continue to lecture everyone else without even trying to understand why people don’t share their views.
