Nothing can erase the two big things Trump and congressional Republicans have done. One is a tax bill handing trillions in breaks to the wealthiest corporations and people while gutting vital programs like Medicaid. And the second is that they’ve enabled and been complicit in this president’s reckless tariffs and outrageous, unconstitutional war, which raise prices for Americans.
Bernie sitting on the Capitol steps alone after his amendment to reduce Medicare drug costs was defeated 99-1. All he's ever done is try his damned hardest to make survival for American workers easier and I wish we deserved him.
On this day in 1994, the Clinton administration's heathcare reform plan was declared "dead" by Congress.
Over 30 years later, the US is still the only industrialized country without universal healthcare.
This should be a national outrage.
Elected Officials in both parties trading stocks. Supreme Court justices taking massive gifts from billionaires with business before the Court. The president’s children are getting rich. All while hardworking Americans watch their costs soar. We cannot normalize this grift. The government is not a personal ATM for the powerful.
It’s just morally and reprehensibly wrong that this half-dead, morbidly lethargic, sorrowful excuse for a human being blocked or voted AGAINST paid medical leave 23 times. He returned to “work” yesterday after being on paid medical leave for 3 fucking months.
BREAKING: Today, I'm introducing a bill to BAN corporate takeovers of your doctor's office.
Doctors should be able to care for their patients without greedy private equity investors getting in the way.
Let's get this done.
President Trump’s rhetoric, reckless tariffs, and chaotic foreign policy have strained bonds with our closest friends and pulled us toward isolation. That is not strength. That is not who we are. We must reclaim our role as a nation that leads with purpose, partnership, and moral courage.

This week, Trump approved disaster relief requests for seven red states — after repeatedly delaying and denying aid to blue states.
No other president has politicized natural disasters the way that Trump has.
All the brilliant, capable, intelligent, YOUNGER people in this country and we’re stuck with this drowsy, sleepy, old, miserably corrupt, fucking geriatric child molesting asshole for our “president?”
Come on America, we can do sooooo much better.
62 years ago today, the Food Stamp Act was signed into law.
The program helped millions of people, especially children, access affordable food — until Trump and Republicans gutted it in their big, ugly bill.
Don’t believe their lies about food stamps for a second.
