It's literally impossible to acknowledge "Scotland's" agency after the Scottish State was dissolved and ceased to exist in 1707 - because it didn't have any!
Instead it was ruled directly by Westminster thereafter - exactly like many other colonies.
It was even militarily occupied during the 1750's at *ten times* the density of occupied India.
Wings Over Scotland: Step One
Until the SNP faithful wake up to the simple fact that the party they support is actively working against independence rather then advancing it, the cause will go nowhere (but the SNP heid highyins will still be on a wage)

Other colonised people don't need you to speak for them - or over them - or pretend to be the arbiter of their feelings and their opinions.
More and more colonised people every day are acknowledging Scotland's own colonisation.
Scotland was and is most certainly a colony.
Happy to discuss further.
@IndyLassie@LiberationScot That's why the campaign for the Liberation of Scotland should now be founded on & driven constitutionally by the Community of the Realm, the people. They will set the limits of power domestically & internationally for the 3 arms of the sovereign independent state of Scotland
@JohnMcKissock Bro you (Scotland) was right there with us colonising the world and prospering from it. Stop playing the victim. Go independent and watch the US asset strip and control you. Fuck off
The Claim of Right sits hidden in the conditions of Union, like the claymore of of old, in the black house thatch.
We know its there, waiting to be used one day to secure Scotland's freedom.
If England win the world cup it might be the best thing for our independence. It will highlight we are very different, something that has been denied in the past.
@byebyesnp@NicholasTyrone Totally untrue, I'm afraid. The average of all opinion polls conducted in this calendar year show a clear majority in favour of Scotland becoming an independent country.
@NicholasTyrone Scotland is an English colony, as now called in the UN system, with a colonial treaty. It's annexation and it's all demonstrated now. Scotland's decolonisation via UN mechanisms is the way.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 About time you started to learn some of that ‘shared history’. Oh it goes deep all right: - English state treachery, genocide, use of the population as cannon fodder or empire administrators, extraction of wealth (continuing), enrichment of a tiny native elite whose ‘largesse’ to cities like Glasgow and Dundee is celebrated as evidence of the prosperity bought by empire 🤮 and the story of a desperate population forced to seek survival elsewhere (biggest loss of population to outward emigration continuing for 200 years) repackaged as a joyful embrace of the English empire. Call it british if you want it was wholly English, employing Scots as it employed Irish and hundreds of thousands of Indians to maintain and spread its empire ( as all empires do). And hope no one noticed that the major arm of the Empire was the English East India Company whose charter was given by and delegated the sovereignty specifically and only of the *English* Crown and Senate from its inception to its end in the 19th century.
The cultural genocide by which our histories have been rewritten or buried to serve a colonising narrative while our languages were suppressed, the deliberate destruction of competitive trading and commerce on which local industry and wealth depended, the recruitment of the greedy and the unprincipled to crush their own people for profit presented as proof that Scots destroyed Scots and so much more all represent the reality of our ‘shared deep history.’
All colonisers rewrite and repackage their criminal history as one of shared history, collaboration and prosperity. These lies add insult to profound injury. We carry the wounds in put DNA but we shall heal as they are unburied, acknowledged and transformed into the fuel for the only thing that saves a historic and distinct people from perishing entirely through assimilation into a non/existent identity (British). Independence.
Coll, I dispute your figure, but tell us the deficit ENGLAND is running.
Scotland alone has a balance of payments SURPLUS out of the 4 UK nations.
AND we're exporting our huge energy surplus south to England.
London expects this to continue.
It WON'T with independence.
