@JackSlackMMA A lot of people talked about Conor being 37 as a reason why the jumping kick was dumb. But he's also pretty chunky at 170.
It was fine when he was 145, but doing jumping shit in his current weight when he's already had knee problems in the past is crazy

@nineghouls @JackSlackMMA @MigClass Would be better at 155. I think when Conor is heavier he abandons what made him great. Also has better cardio when lighter.
Although part of it is just struggling against southpaws. Interested to see what stance Max uses, and his tactics.

@nineghouls @JackSlackMMA @MigClass Chad Mendes fight also. A lot of kicks and karate style, but also crazy toughness and lasted a while.
I wish he kept the karate/taekwondo style kicking against Diaz. Being at 170 didn't help, that was a bad idea.
I'm hopeful there's still some of that old Conor magic left in him.

@JackSlackMMA Also the way he talked, in early interviews he used to talk about Bruce Lee a lot. And the training footage of him at this time, doing the Showtime Kick off the wall, handstands and capoeira. Best Mcgregor era IMO.

@JackSlackMMA This was the fight that REALLY made me like Conor. Brimage fight was fun, but quick knockouts are common. The Max fight had Conor doing some super rare techniques: hook kicks to head, body & legs, side kick to leg.

@INCagefighting @JackSlackMMA Crazy how bad he looks here. Part of why he was so popular in his prime IMO was his looks/fashion. He always looked great in the embedded videos for the Poirier/Mendes/Aldo fights.
Plus he was funny with an entertaining fight style. Had it all. Shevchenko-esque lol

Max = 32 and "took tons of damage". Only a few fights ago he fought 5 rounds with Gaethje and KOd him lol

Pereira wasn't "given a pass", Gane clearly had several illegal shots, whereas these all look legal to me.
Tbh I prefer Gane as a fighter though, just a shame he does that.

@AmarMasti @JackSlackMMA It's weird that video has such positive comments. There's 2 strikes they say were legal which aren't. And a some "bad angle" ones that were also illegal.
Just put some coloured text on a video and it makes it legit apparently.
It's more like 4 or 5 illegal shots, which is BAD.

Zahabi barely landing anything except leg kicks. They were hurting a bit, but he was never going to win like that.

@JackSlackMMA They could add data related to popularity into the AI model like social media followers, average youtube views of their free fights and interviews, etc.
Actually, a separate popularity ranking would be kinda funny to have. Gives Jon Anik some extra stats to mention
