What a fantastic idea! #Crew96 are taking time to secure the best kit sponsor, maybe in tandem with a partner for the new stadium. For 2020, they should work with @colsfoundation to feature some of the amazing nonprofits making a difference in Central OH. A new one each month?

In light of today’s overreaction to the news of a possible #Crew96 rebrand, I’ll admit that I’m one of those supporters who really prefers the new badge. Sure, drop the SC, but the design, done by locals, is authentically Columbus and objectively cooler than the hard hats.

That said, the name and colors must stay. That’s our history, a big part of what we saved from the carpetbagger. I trust in @DrPeteEdwards1 to respect our roots.
