A female Marsh Harrier was circling over Marsworth Reservoir, Tring before going into it at 10.15 this morning. Also several Reed and Sedge Warblers singing in both the Bucks and Herts sections if the reedbeds.

I use the Nature Guides app to the Butterflies of Britain and Ireland. Also well done on finding the Golden Oriole at Wilstone.

I counted 13 Dark Green Fritillaries late afternoon at Ivinghoe but only 4 other butterflies of 3 species. The worst year so far for butterflies but a Hummingbird Hawkmoth was a highlight
