@iam_shwa I notice you left out the Bible….the word of God. Christianity isn’t a club you join, it’s submission to God with all your mind, soul, and strength. The history is just men messing it up and trying their best.
Calvinists cannot imagine Jesus saying that either, because Calvinism does not teach it.
“What must I do to be saved?”
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).
And why does anyone believe?
“All that the Father gives me will come to me” (John 6:37).
“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him” (John 6:44).
“You do not believe because you are not among my sheep” (John 10:26).
The command is believe.
The promise is that everyone who believes will be saved.
The explanation for why sinners believe is sovereign grace.
Election does not replace faith. Election ensures that sinners come to Christ in faith.
You have not refuted Calvinism. You have refuted a sentence you wrote and put in Jesus’ mouth.
@BreeSolstad According to Romans 12:1-2, God defines worship for us. It is offering ourselves to God as sacrifices, loving good and hating evil, and living out the will of God. This is worship.
Not re-sacrificing Jesus and hyper-literalizing the Lord’s Supper.
@amiKozak “Also….we’re not going to mention that 7 ate 9? I mean….7 ate 9 and nobody talks about it. It’s just, like….disappeared. And then we’re supposed to just believe that 2+2 is 4? I have zero percent confidence that 2+2 is 4.”
@ConservativeG99 Play the next three seconds, as he gets closer to the camera. It clearly is TR. Candace shows a point in the video that might leave some doubt. She did this on purpose. Stop falling for her BS.
This is what so many Catholics don’t understand. The early church was not free from error and should not be used as your basis for what is pleasing to God.
@JosephLuminiel2@MikeWingerii Paul wrote to early churches to correct their many errors. Respectfully, you’re essentially saying “this happened in the church in 155 AD so it must be normative, good, and pleasing to God.” Simply because it happened isn’t a positive proof for its place in the Christian faith.
@DineshDSouza Answering as a Calvinist, yes. All those choices were made freely.
@DineshDSouza have you read ANYTHING scholarly from the reformation before you decided to rail against your Calvinist strawman? It sounds you learned everything you know from memes.
@sasstastic07@LemmeReact Did you notice nobody else in the video was reacting either? They must have been in on it to, according to how you retards think.
@MikeWingerii I’ve always thought it was about saving Lot more than saving Sodom & Gomorrah.
Remember, when God destroyed S&G, Lot was rescued again when the angels had to pull him out because he wouldn’t leave.
What worship is, according to God:
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual WORSHIP.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Romans 12:1-2 ESV
Worship is how we live our life, not what we do on Sunday.
