@WallyWingert I suppose no longer listening to terrestrial radio has something to do with it.
Also, movie subject matter today is too real life and made difficult to watch (what cool tunes go with angst ridden family violence?)
Last REALLY good movie music was ‘89 Batman!
@WallyWingert Wow Wally!!!
In the mid 1960’s there was a Christmas when me and many friends received walk-e-talkies (remember opening the box and smelling that plastic and transistor fragrance)
Fast forward to the early 1970’s and many friends received portable cassette recorders.

@BeschlossDC So many “what if’s”
Someone from the Schworilt Super Outlet throws something at JFK and it hits the limo.
Once in Texas, decisions are to not go with the open top.
Because of this, there is no grassy knoll, Zapruder film, or John John salute in our collective consciousness.
@diggingforkrpod Anthony, great stuff as usual. Any thoughts on the color episodes scenes crossfading and not digitally upgraded until the next scene which is separated by a cut, not a fade?
@HorrorHammer1 Must be an early promotion poster. It’s before “The Abominable…” was added and these images don’t seem to be lifted from stills. Such a colorful early 70’s shocker!
@BatcavePodcast@GentleGiantsRsQ @DanG_Comics Based on podcast dates, The Batcave Podcast is 10 years old this week. Thanks John for all the cool shows!
@ItCameFromBlog “King Kong Escapes” (Blu-Ray) would be a good choice. This dubbed film has a concise plot and effects that give Kong and Robot Kong a real sense of size over their surroundings.
Fun!
@diggingforkrpod The upcoming Stolen Costume is such a stand out episode. For some reason, it still looks pretty sketchy on my DVDs not the digital restore like others plus features Dan Seymour who played The Joker as The Maharaja in The Joker Trumps an Ace
@MikeDoocyFox4@TomBrady Looks like @TomBrady noticed that Tier 2 security had not removed @silverToupe1941 from the sideline so the Tier 1 goons were needed.
@geg_williams Agreed, but it seems strange to hear girls screaming in the audience long after the British Invasion. Sadly, these are the dire days of the Altamont Speedway killing.
@SimonSt51662750@rocknrollgarag1 Fortunate to be at 1st stop of tour in Ft Worth. The live album version of “I’ve Just Seen a Face” is such a cool acoustic performance of a Beatles classic.
@geg_williams In Ticket year 1, I sent you a VHS tape of a Letterman show that you wanted. You sent me this cap back as thanks. Thanks for the years of radio fun and perhaps many more to come.
@TracesofTexas It’s got something to do with how we behave in public. In the early days of the park, there was the Caddo Canoe ride where a guide was leading paddle and about 8 more riders helped with the paddling. That ride would not last a week.
