Another one of my mentors over the years that help mold me into who I am. His last parting shot to me a few years ago, after growing a beard. He told me some men grow beards to look more intellectual as we age. He continued, “it doesn’t work for (you).” Rest in peace Coach.

Researchers at MIT have questioned whether SMART goals (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, time-bound) actually work. They suggest we might get better outcomes if we make our goals FAST (frequently discussed, ambitious, specific and transparent) not SMART.

Wooden’s Famous Two Sets of Threes from Bill Walton….
1. Don’t lie
2. Don’t cheat
3. Don’t steal
And
1. Don’t whine
2. Don’t complain
3. Don’t make excuses
It is really pretty simple, isn’t it?
RIP Bill Walton 🙏
