@7evenWordz @RhoRider Got it, I didn’t understand the differences between the two uses of “yield”.

[Michael King @mikedk25]

@dontbethatdumb @7evenWordz @RhoRider Got it, thanks for the clarification

[Michael King @mikedk25]

@7evenWordz @RhoRider That’s not how it works. If the yield is higher than the coupon, it’s because the price of the bond is less than the face value. You’ll get the yield because you bought it at lower than face value.

@sola_chad The Church is the body of Christ.

@SelbJim @BeSaintly You miss Jesus's, I'm afraid.

[Michael King @mikedk25]

@NJBeisner @rpuffinstuff2 The mass is the Liturgy of the Word (Christ) and the Liturgy of the Eucharist (Christ). That's the whole mass.

5. Its longevity owes much to Roman concrete.

This concrete contains calcium carbonate lumps called "lime clasts," once thought to be from poor mixing.

Now, they’re known to provide "self-healing" by dissolving in water that seeps into cracks and recrystallizing to seal them.

@heartlife2022_ I found that asking my guardian angel to guard my mind every time I had an intrusive thought helped immensely. I had never asked my guardian angel for help until I was in my thirties, but boy did it make a difference.

Please join me in thanking Our Lord for the election of Pope Leo XIV, Successor of Saint Peter, as the Shepherd of the Church throughout the world. The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe at La Crosse has a particularly strong bond with the Roman Pontiff, especially through its affiliation with the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major. I urge all pilgrims and friends of the Shrine to pray fervently for Pope Leo XIV that Our Lord, through the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Saint Peter Apostle, and Pope Saint Leo the Great, will grant him abundant wisdom, strength, and courage to do all that Our Lord is asking of Him in these tumultuous times. May God bless Pope Leo and grant him many years. Viva il Papa!

If you live in a time that no man will give you good counsel, nor any man give you good example, you will see virtue punished and vice rewarded, but you must stand fast. You must firmly stick to God, upon pain of your life.

#7 - Consoling the Heart of the Father

"It is I, your Heavenly Mother, your Queen and your Refuge. Come to My Heart, My little ones. Come to the Home and the Citadel prepared for you by the Father for these times. Take refuge in My Immaculate Heart and do not fear."

Friends in Christ I come before you and I tell you that the devil is active on X tonight. I encountered him myself. I am going to take a quick moment and offer this prayer and if you see this post, I hope you will take a short break and pray it. God be with us.

Prayer against evil

Spirit of our God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Most Holy Trinity, descend upon me. Please purify me, mold me, fill me with yourself, and use me. Banish all the forces of evil from me; destroy them, vanquish them so that I can be healthy and do good deeds.

Banish from me all curses, hexes, spells, witchcraft, black magic, demonic assignments, malefice and the evil eye; diabolic infestations, oppressions, possessions; all that is evil and sinful; jealousy, treachery, envy; all physical, psychological, moral, spiritual and diabolical ailments; as well as all enticing spirits, deaf, dumb, blind, mute and sleeping spirits, new-age spirits, occult spirits, religious spirits, antichrist spirits, and any other spirits of death and darkness.

I command and bid all the powers who molest me—by the power of God Almighty, in the name of Jesus Christ my Savior—to leave me forever, and to be consigned into the everlasting lake of fire, that they may never again touch me or any other creature in the entire world. Amen.

@Truth_matters20 @wellwithher If Christ desired all the faithful to be one and we have the Holy Spirit to provide interpretation, how do we have so many interpretations? And how do you know which is right? Paul warned not to follow other gospels, but why would he have to say that if they had the Holy Spirit?
