Low level clouds rolling over the Smokies during sunset at Clingmans Dome. Such a magical moment to see this, I only wish I had been up there earlier. I didn't even have the time to set up the tripod.
One of my favorite things to photograph is water and living in the midwest scenes like this pretty much don't exist. Took advantage of them on my latest trip to the Smokies, so hope you enjoy scenes like this 😀

As thick medium level clouds rolled into the mountains on our last day, this small gap of light formed during sunset. Only a few minutes later the clouds filled up the valley below and that was that. I feel very fortunate to have been in the right spot at the right time.
It was clear skies here in Kansas City last night so I had to try and get some photos of the Lunar Eclipse. It's kinda funny that I'm so into astrophotography but this is one of my first moon photos 😂🤷♂️ maybe I should work on that...
