@RichardBentall @stephennewton @redalphababe Looking forward to seeing this one - could you ping it to me at some point. There is a kind of naive optimism in the idea that there is an underlying meaning to events we struggle with. As in religious belief

So. Awkward moment. I have bad-mouthed our Ynys Môn Tory MP Virginia Crosbie so many times on sm. and then tonight in gale force winds when I thumbed a random car down for a lift home - who stopped? Yup. The woman herself. Oops. Think she’ll friend me on fb?

[mikefaban @mikefaban1]

@SiobhanDavies72 It’s interesting how misinformed people are so ready to make condemning judgements. I wonder how many of them have publically disclosed and questioned their own bad behaviour ? She actually made a gracious apology and thanked the MP for her kindness

[mikefaban @mikefaban1]

@DebDancingStar @SiobhanDavies72 For me, that’s the most inspiring part of this. Not many of us are strong enough to make a public apology like this, or to be able to openly question our own deeply held perspective. Sharing such an important pearl of wisdom about kindness from the experience is beautiful. Thanks
