My unsolicited advice to young farmers starting out

Develop good strong relationships with the businesses you deal with regularly

Treat them fairly and with respect and no matter how small of a farmer you are they’ll treat you like a BTO😁

@thefarmerslife My Deere mechanic highly reccs 10pumps every 50hrs. On accelerator & discharge &rotor bearings plus a host of other 200-400hr zerks. Im a believer after multiple failures over the years on multiple Deere rotor combines.

@FarmHendrickson @JohnDeere Thats why they put the plastic inserts in the end of their cardboard net wrap rolls. I got mad baling and took one out cut it to fit double sided taped it in place. 🕺🏻

@ArlanFF101 Ear girth or ears around set v3-v5. Early season stress is fine as long as rains a coming but right now the plant is t sucking up nutrients it’s looking for moisture. Time will tell but a lot of corn belt will need 10+ inches we are way behind. We’re down 40 points at halftime

@shanefalk @JohnDeere We fought this on both planter tractors with jd 3000 globes. Went to a 6000 globe on one and it still did it but recovered faster. My radio tech changed my radio frequency from 153.020 to a higher freq closer to 160. Problem solved. He said the lower freq were notorious for tha
