I want to be on my old man soup box for a second. Parents, trainers, guardians, handlers, why are we posting middle school/ rising high school commitment posts/ edits? I truly don't understand the reason why, but I have an open mind if someone can give me a logical reason.
Hey, angry coach…
Hey, tough guy coach…
Hey, mad at the world coach…
Hey, it's all about you coach…
Hey, yell at everyone coach…
How about smiling sometimes and act like you actually enjoy the opportunity you have coaching your players👍🏼😁!

Open letter to 10U umpires:
First and foremost. God bless you. It takes some real stones to be out there dealing the parents and coaches these days for $30/game. You’re a real one.
Second, and the point of this letter:
Your strike zone should be HUGE. I mean, Texas sized, Alaska HUGE. You warn everyone in advance so there’s no misunderstandings.
You are getting paid by the game, not by the hour, homie. Show some business sense.
🤣🤣🤣
All I’ll ever say about @DelanoBats is - Wow Factor 15U National hit 6 HR in 4 games in PG Beast of East. We don’t have a single Delano bat or fake wood in the dugout. We scored 43 runs in 4 games in BOE. We played opponents exclusively using this bat. They aren’t wood bats and turn fly outs into HR’s and ground outs into hits.
A COMPOSITE, HOLLOW wood bat⁉️ Bring back real baseball. How will college coaches and pro scouts truly evaluate players in game when Delano bats give weakest hitter in a lineup elite raw power?
I’ll always encourage high school players to play the best competition they can in the summer and fall. That’s how you prepare for the high school season. Especially if you’re an underclassman with varsity goals—play up and challenge yourself.
Last night I couldn’t watch the @Braves on a channel that I pay monthly for bc I live 2 hrs away in Chattanooga. 🙄🤬
Meanwhile @TheSavBananas are selling out 100k seat stadiums.
@mlb - do better!
Rob Manfred - what are you doing to grow the game?!
I coached 6 games this weekend with our 15U and 17U teams.
No trash talk.
No bat flips directed at opponents.
No showing people up.
Just players competing their tails off and respecting the game.
That’s the kind of baseball I want to be around.
Mercer missing the field is bad for college baseball.
If a mid-major can win 44 games, finish top 30 in RPI, rank among the national leaders in homers and still miss, what exactly is the path supposed to be outside the power conferences?

Swing at strikes, take balls. Don’t chase the zone. Congrats… you are now one of the best hitting coaches on the planet. Shut up, throw the BP, watch, and shut up some more. Good hitters have a shot of organizing things if you give them a chance.
