@BibiLynch@SJTHarrison That’s a mighty fine looking button soup. Thank you for the dedication - it’s even better than having a song played on the radio!
It’s so important to keep truly local radio alive. A few years ago I worked for Spirit FM - one of the best teams in the business. Former presenters are launching a new radio station for the ‘Spirit of the South’ - https://t.co/Q8FFjGuVg3 - good luck everyone! @V2RadioSussex
I may as well join the rest of the UK’s shoppers in taking photos of empty supermarket shelves 🤦♂️. Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the toilet roll aisle and the headache tablet aisle at one major brand supermarket. Another shop refused to sell me four tins of cat food 🤨.
Why has @npowerhq estimated I used £162,255.50p worth of electricity in January? I suspect I didn’t. I live in a two bedroom house and I don’t grow anything dodgy in the roof space. Can someone from the company please make contact to sort.
Goodnight from #Eastbourne where Caroline Ansell has won the seat for the Conservatives. The count hall is now empty, the candidates have gone. Tune in to @BBCSussex at Breakfast to hear interviews with Caroline Ansell and the former MP, Liberal Democrat Stephen Lloyd.#ge2019
Quick update from #Eastbourne Town Hall where the counting of the ballot papers is now complete. All I’m hearing from the parties is that it’s “too close to call”. #ge2019@BBCSussex
Hmm🤔. Here in #Eastbourne, the Conservatives tell me that Brexit was a big talking point on the doorstep, Labour says it wasn’t - with people more interested in localised issues, and the Liberal Democrats say interest in Brexit mirrored the result of the 2016 referendum #ge2019
Labour’s candidate in #Eastbourne Jake Lambert concedes that he won’t be the town’s next MP, but tells me he will still continue to represent Labour in the town. Won’t be pushed on who he thinks will be the winner... saying still too early to call. #ge2019@bbcsussex
Counting underway in #Eastbourne . Declaration expected around 4am. In the meantime the hot drinks machine is on free vend... so a rare and early win for the overnight media team. #ge2019@BBCSussex
For all you late night number crunchers, the turnout in #Eastbourne was 69.7% - that’s down on the 72.9% of 2017, but up on the 67.6% turnout of 2015. #ge2019@bbcsussex
