@TheTyJager Not calling him a bust. He may very well develop into a spectacular defender. I just don’t think that is the ceiling you swing for at #9, and I think Eason offers similar defensive upside with much better present offensive skill/value.

@TheTyJager It appears we failed to take the best player available with each of our past 3 top picks. Should’ve taken Halliburton over Vassell, Sengun over Primo, and Eason or Dieng over Sochan. Imagine those 3 with Keldon. We’d be in a better place.

I am a career federal prosecutor and I will never understand why DOJ insists we charge in the conjunctive (“and”) when the statute is written in the disjunctive (“or”) and all we have to prove is one—not all—of the options. It always confuses jurors!

@ryanjreilly Govt. requested 3 months of jail (6 months is max) followed by 3 years of probation. Def. sought probation only or 7 days jail.

Judge sentenced him to 35 days of incarceration followed by 2 years of probation, which includes 60 days of community service and drug testing.
