Will Byers is my son and my son gets what he wants (byler endgame)

[△ jiji @runedeer]

it's genuinely really creepy to me that they apparently don't see the conflicting nature in the fact that they supposedly want to represent "childhood" through a character who they forced to learn how to be a girlfriend before she knew how to be a girl or a friend

[flora🪻 @rabtoast]

this is how they treated their queer character. I needed a second to breath after reading this it made me feel sick. this is purely homophobic AND it's not how good character writing works.

if #conformitygate isn’t real I think the hardest part will be accepting they royally fucked up my first born child Mike Wheeler & gave him no deeper purpose or the complex character growth he deserved. My heart aches just thinking about it. https://t.co/TQchJHJ6jm

you have 24 hours to respond @strangerwriters #conformitygate

[flora🪻 @rabtoast]

if #conformitygate turns out to be a nothingburger it's insane how many coincidences there are like everything fits together seamlessly like puzzle pieces

[ava DAY💚 @bylerinjections]

ok… my first instinct was that this is obvi fake and engagement bait but it says last change on may 2025?? did we know abt that before then??? is there some sorta workaround the username change history?? #conformitygate

[Armani Cherry @chromesofhearts]

Wait nobody been peeped this yet?? HOW DID WE MISS THIS? We know Stranger Things are known for Morse coding and this was right infront of our faces. And it says: U DID NOT STOP ME??!! I DONT BELIEVE IN COINCIDENCE

[Ava Ryss @AAKA062604]

MIKE'S EXIT IS WILL'S PAINTING?

(also the exit in Joyce and Hopper is above 2 grandfather clock???)
there's just way too much details so it's only either VECNA WON or #conformitygate

[choggy 🦈🍦 @joshlerbyler]

THIS BEING ABOUT THE DUFFERS

[hat ⟢ @y0usaidyes]

when someone asks me about my opinions on the treatment of el and mike’s characters so i have to go into a long plethora about how their romantic relationship is a perfect example of the forced conformity the show claims to be against

[clarke ⏾⋆.˚ @MAYFlELDSMAX]

my theory on how will’s coming out scene potentially ties in with #conformitygate

—— a thread

[Liv☾♡☾ @byerswheelerrr]

wait oh my god the duffers said that allegedly Mike made this up in his head and that el didn't actually pull him into the void

ofc he would imagine her saying those things that she didn't actually feel because it's exactly what Will told Mike that el felt in the van😭😭

[ADRI ツ @aadritw]

WTFFFFFF

ITS HAPPENINGGGG

#conformitygate

[char @yourstrulivia]

stranger writers post and unblur the ORIGINAL whiteboard from 2022 and you will be reincarnated as a lotus flower. because ik damn well what was written on this board is NOT the same as what was written and shown in the actual season itself

[ella @gutsywheeler]

i need to speak to the art department and give them all a kiss on the cheek for continuing mike’s queer coding even when the duffers tried to nerf it

[llᴉʍɅɐllᴉuɐʌ @andaegu]

if they never intended to make byler endgame then they should’ve made mike a better boyfriend to el and stopped queerbaiting the audience

[dyl ⟢ @yaoifreaks]

yeah this is genuinely the biggest proof ive ever seen this is happening idc #conformitygate
