@LeszekMiller Od dawna twierdzę ze dyskusja na temat dostępu do broni nie ma sensu tak długo jak długo w Polsce obywatel nie będzie mógł się bronić przed napastnikami. Dla mnie sprawa jest prosta: ktoś mnie atakuje to powinienem mieć prawną możliwość wyjechania na niego nawet z czołgiem.

Open Letter from the Polish 🇵🇱 Online Community to President @realDonaldTrump

Dear Mr. President,

We, the people of Poland’s online community, reach out to you with a heartfelt plea. For decades, we have admired the spirit of freedom, innovation, and opportunity that America represents. It is this very spirit that the Polish people share and hold dear, and that has inspired our developers, creators, and entrepreneurs to contribute to a brighter future for both our nations.

That is why the recent decision by the U.S. government to limit the export of advanced GPU technology to Poland feels like a betrayal — not just of our developmental ambitions, but of the deep and historic alliance between our countries.

Poland has always stood with America. Our soldiers fought side by side with yours in Iraq and Afghanistan. We host American military bases on our soil to ensure the safety of the free world. We have been unwavering in our commitment to NATO, leading the way in modernizing our military in close cooperation with U.S. partners, and standing firm against authoritarian regimes that threaten liberty and democratic values.

Why, then, are we now being punished with restrictions that threaten our future development?

Poland is not a threat to America — Poland is America’s strongest ally in Europe. In the face of growing threat from the East, we rely on technological cooperation with the US to strengthen both our economy and our security. Cutting us off from advanced technology risks weakening this critical partnership at a time when it should be stronger than ever.

Mr. President, we ask you to remember the bond that has always existed between our nations. We are not asking for charity — we are asking for trust. Trust in our shared values. Trust in the future we are building together.

It is in moments like this that great leaders show their true character. History will remember your choices. We urge you to take swift action to reverse this unfortunate decision the moment you assume office, and to strengthen the special bond between Poland and the United States, ensuring that we continue to stand united in the pursuit of freedom, innovation, and peace.
