you’ve actually said what I’ve been thinking out loud. I think I’ve finally clocked it too. Davido has a whole different set of people waiting for anything concerning him ,haters, APC apologists, some people who already dislike him for different reasons, and plenty who hide under being Wizkid stans just to troll him.

There’s even this particular Seun guy I’ve watched troll Davido for years. At some point you have to ask yourself, is this still about Wizkid? Because how can somebody you claim not to rate occupy this much space in your head? 😂

And look at some of the acclaimed Wiz supporters on here, TuFab, Ika, Basito and co. Sometimes you’ll see more Davido content from them than Wizkid content. That’s when it starts looking less like stanning Wiz and more like using Wiz as an avenue to hate Davido.

With all due respect to Wiz and everything he has achieved, sometimes this comparison and hate is just forced. Wiz doesn’t even move like Davido and clearly doesn’t care to. So why are some of his fans more obsessed with how Davido moves than enjoying their own fave?

Davido too needs to understand that this is the market. He’s accessible, he’s outside, he interacts, he gives people content, so naturally he’ll attract love and hate. But some of these people don turn hating the guy into full-time employment. 😂

@AsaAsika I genuinely think you’re a fantastic manager, but you guys need to protect Davido from himself sometimes. There’s a clear pattern on this app: provoke him, wait for him to react, then make his reaction the story.

He doesn’t need to fight every battle or answer every insult. That’s exactly what they want. Please get him to stop taking the bait and protect his peace and brand.

However he worded it, haven’t you noticed the constant attacks on Davido from @Tufab and his people on this app? It’s the same thing every time provoke him, downplay whatever he achieves, then wait for him to react so they can drag him all over again.

My only problem with @davido is that he keeps falling for it. Bro, these people want your reaction, stop giving it to them. You don’t have to respond to everything. Sometimes just ignore them and keep it moving. You’ve got nothing left to prove.
