At this point, I don't think anything can really catch on. The main social media platforms have too many features while also being simplistic enough to use that there's really no point in using anything else.

Social Media in classrooms can vary in both ways of whether its good or bad, but it is usually bad. Most of the time it is used is because a student is bored in class, and not many assignments utilize social media.

There are quite a few ways social media can be used in education. It can serve as quite a good tool for connecting students and teachers (albeit through school-purposed accounts), and allows for different types of assignments.

It factually does make a difference, but I'd imagine not by very much. It is pointless, especially because trends similar to that are not as popular as they used to be.

I do not think Social Media makes a big impact in terms of supporting activism and advocacy. At most, it can promote it through words on a screen or audio. I have never supported a cause because of Social Media moved me to do so.

For the 2019 election, I personally believe social media didn't play as big of a factor compared to other elections, as the candidates weren't too differing from the previous one and most people already knew the outcome anyways.

Social Media was a big factor of the 2016 election, as that's the year I believe that social media started playing a big role in elections. Especially with Donald Trump becoming a laughing stock to the entire internet.

I do think I fall into the Citizen 2.0 category because I couldn't imagine voting without gaining a lot of knowledge and an opinion of a presidential candidate first. I think openness and transparency is good for a candidate because it lets us know them better.

Yes, it does make an impact, and I'd imagine it would for everyone else as well. It's a form of communication and advertising, it's no different compared watching a presidential candidate delivering the same information in person

An instance of crowdsourcing that I remember is the Mcdonalds "My Burger" campaign, where people could create their own burger and the top 5 best-voted burgers would be released by Mcdonalds

My favourite off the top of my head would be Mcdonalds, and it is a Wallflower. Their social media presence doesn't really affect how much I prefer it over other fast foods, I just really love Mcdonalds and its been my favourite pretty much forever
