I mostly do roleplaying-related things, but I can often pass as knowledgeable.
I work for Google as an SRE. My opinions are my own, not those of my employer.
Given the total uncertainty around the ongoing nature of this site, this tweet will start a thread of other places you can find me. I'm not going to quit Twitter as a protest, but I may change my posting habits and site mix. I don't have a plan here, but I like a lot of you...

And now I have mastadon. @[email protected] , for now. Apparently it's straightforward to migrate identities there, so this seems like a good place to get started from. https://t.co/CUShrdDWdi
@TheSilverStripe It's remarkable how many of my friends are furries, but only remarkable in the sense that people care. I don't really understand why people care.
Air brushes do a really nice job of creating thin, clingy coats of a fluid evenly applied. Fresh whole wheat is very coarse, so spreading my cheese on it leaves a thick coating with lots of air underneath. A thin, clingy coat would be...odd. 2/2
I just had the weirdest idea. Running cream cheese through an airbrush-style device to get a thin, even coating of, well, cream cheese. On something. Maybe fresh whole wheat bread. 1/2
@lindaholmes To be clear, these are all fine standalone stories. Some have sequels. All exist in a larger context, but are each accessible independently.
@lindaholmes Discworld. Try "going postal" as a place to start if you like "con artist turns over a new leaf" vibes like White Collar. Or "unseen academicals" if you like trafitional sports fiction. "Monstrous Regiment" is fantastic adventure.
@d_feldman@Hasmanean Straightforward thing is to charge the winner the price offered by the second-place bidder. You can even let people see the running bid up until lock-in. Hard part is around group seating.
@SamTheBuddha Jesus, dude, let people mourn, because that's what this is, people dealing with loss. You're watching the seven stages of grief played through by millions, with no stage synchronization between the mourners.
