@gregauman@Angel_TBbuc Yes, but if you take them away, you also likely give up more defensive yardage and points. The fumble return TD, punt return TD, and multiple short fields in Cincy helped make our defensive numbers look much better than they truly are. The eye test shows they’re bad.
@Villevalo1122 @TheSamerAli Nobody remembers WHY we lost those last 4 games that year. Monte Kiffin quit on the team an agreed to follow his son to U of Tennessee. Defensive play calling was tasked to Raheem Morris, and he was terrible.
@CornellNFL Kubiak would be good. I also would take a look at Josh McDaniels (Pats OC), Todd Monken (Ravens OC), Lincoln Riley (USC HC) – coached Baker at Oklahoma, Steve Sarkisian (U Texas HC), Zac Robinson (Falcons OC) – From McVey tree, coached Baker at Rams, Shannon Dawson (UMiami OC)
@LedyardNFLDraft I would have run it on 2nd down. And DEFINITELY on 3rd down. Stupid. You’re in 4 down territory and your offensive line is dominating the game.
@MSweetwood Rose made a deal with then MLB commissioner Bart Giamatti to withdraw from baseball and then seek reinstatement a few years later. Giamatti died of a heart attack a week later, and Fay Vincent became the next commissioner. Rose would have been reinstated if Giamatti lived longer.
@ESPNBooger Jaxon Dart made terrible decisions on that last sequence. Took a sack, didn’t throw to the end zone on the offsides free play, and then fumbled. The kicker missed a 49yd FG in windy conditions. The kicker isn’t a heisman candidate like Dart. Why aren’t you questioning Dart?
@YobamaUltimate @Mat_Germain_ A few different ways.
1. Move Paredes to 1st and let Caminero play 3rd.
2. Move B. Lowe to 1st and let Caminero play 2nd.
3. Move B. Lowe to 1st, Paredes to 2nd, and Caminero to 3rd.
@Mat_Germain_ I'd still trade Efflin now regardless. You have Springs and Rassmusen coming back. Efflin's value now will be higher than it will in the winter, because teams are desperate for pitching at the trade deadline. He's not in the plans for 2025, so get the most value now.
