@StewartMills@aziz0nomics Palestinians within Israel have governmental seats, administrative roles, and are integrated into Israeli society. Does that sound like a nation "at war" with said people? Yes, there are many problems in Israel, but ignoring these facts does everyone a dissservice.
@wfw_ae@adam_louis52328 Some define it as a decolonial project - a people returning to their indigenous land after being largely exiled (in the year 1800, a mere 7000 of the world's 2.5 million Jews lived in Palestine)
@hecubian_devil@PhilipPetrunak Another huge problem with this analogy: it's literally exactly what the Israelis he hates say to justify what's happening to the Palestinians.
@kimincanada @AMWHMe @MosabAbuToha "Likewise in an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, Naim repeated that Hamas fighters haven't committed any crimes.[8] In both cases, interviewers confronted Naim with evidence that hundreds of civilians had been killed in the October 7 attack." You trust anything this guy says?
@kimincanada @AMWHMe @MosabAbuToha "In an interview with Sky News, following the 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel, Naim said that Hamas did not kill civilians.[6][7]"
@davidshor@mattyglesias Isn't this partly due to far left and far right folks who don't identify with Dems/Reps being wildly more antisemitic than average?
