@PaulMcKayX I like that. I took away a similar idea from the book Dopamine Nation, in which the author explains that discomfort actually increases our capacity for pleasure.
That second tip is interesting, I’ll have to try that.
One that works for me is to “move like honey.” My default is moving fast to get through a space asap. Slowing down forces me to take in my surroundings and kind of realize that people aren’t the threat I imagine them to be. Plus it probably comes across as more confident, which helps.
