The Gulf of Mexico is on fire, it's 112 degrees in Portland, roads and rails are crumbling from the sun, wildfire and hurricane season are here in record time and people are concerned about the cost of going green.

@Casey 2/2 A recent BBC prog concluded that parrots, parrakeets, budgerigars etc... became very popular in the early part of last century and have re-wilded here after having escaped or people released them as they tired of looking after them in cages 🐦
@Casey 1/2 We have them in London also dude. And there are dozens of urban myths including:-
1. They escaped from filming at Shepperton Film studios during filming of The African Queen with Humphrey Bogart.
2. They escaped from London Zoo after bomb damage in WWII.
