@Jackie_Redmond 2022 game 7 vs the Rangers I sat on the glass and he was the best and most noticeable player on the ice. I remember saying “man I wish we had that guy”
To be fully present is to have a mind that is not caught up in the past or future.
It allows you to reach a higher level of consciousness, a more powerful vibration of energy.
Stop pushing stress and anxiety away.
Sit with them.
Listen to them.
Understand them.
Talk with someone about them.
This is where growth happens and you become more like the person you’re meant to be.
Anxiety and stress get a really bad connotation.
They’re pivotal moments and just a state of being or feeling.
Just like happiness is a state of being or feeling.
Except stress and anxiety are teaching moments.
Moments to lean into.
To have faith and stop trying to control what you cannot control.
You don’t know what’s best for you.
Only God does
Be willing to face uncomfortable feelings.
Ask yourself
“What do I want more? To get out of this feeling of discomfort? Or to learn and grow and get better at these moments?”
There’s a story about Jesus visiting two sisters, Mary and Marta.
Marta was busy working hard preparing, trying to make things perfect for Jesus.
She became resentful that Mary wasn’t doing the same.
She was sitting at Jesus’ feet.
Jesus told Marta that Mary was doing the better thing.
God wants our hearts and especially our presence more than any achievements.
Our loved ones want the same.
Kids, family members, friends.
Complete presence
As the CEO you always want to keep the energy up of your people. And things are going well. Keep the energy out when you’re not growing as fast as you want when challenges arise, an energy will be felt throughout the company.
