@JackSlackMMA Funny enough, in the post fight interview, she was like, yeah I hit it in grappling rounds on people who body triangle me, but I don’t know why someone would want to lock themselves in bottom in MMA.
@mmaonpoint Anyone bandying about the term “casual” if you don’t like Valentina fights needs a rescue mission to get them out of the sea of irony they are drowning in.
@Kimy_Ben10@mmaonpoint Nothing more technical than standing back and low kicking/ check hooking a couple times a round against “good” opponents. Or beating down no hopers.
@JackSlackMMA For anyone really angry about this. This is the same as Jack’s take on Merab. Not fun to watch, but it’s effective (true). Ryan’s just a different version of that, involving flicking kicks and guard flops. Except he happens to provide your favorite jiu Jitsu instructionals.
@JackSlackMMA Jack, I love you, and I know you’re a big Ryan Hall fan. That being said, that style of fighting was abysmal to watch even if it was successful. I was glad to see Topuria punch his head off. And Rogan glazing Hall so bad that fight was the cherry on top.
@ceoofsickcunts@JackSlackMMA How did you come to that conclusion from my reply? You’re acting like I said that he got his head punched off in every fight when I literally called his overall style successful.
@OpenNoteGrapple Gunnar grabbing the cage over and over in that sequence sometimes even after immediately having his hand pulled off by the ref. I don’t know why refs have such a hard time taking points from fighters.
